A-C in the name of the line comes from Allis-Chalmers Co – an American manufacturer of large equipment for various industries, with a history of more than 150 years. Despite the new brand name, Xylem Inc., the employees and product design are the legacy of Allis Chalmers and ITT A-C Pump.
